How to Check A Faulty Fujitsu Takamisawa Relays
The electrical components in most machines or vehicles are controlled by the simple Fujitsu Takamisawa relays. So, if the component stops working because it is not getting any electricity, you should check the relays first. Using a Multimeter
This is the only tool that you will require to check whether there is any faulty relay or not. As you remove the relay from the fuse box, you need to set the multimeter to measure the DC voltage and switch the electricity on. Once the current is flowing, you should check whether there are 12 volts in 85 different positions where the Raychem Chip Ceramic Capacitors were situated. If there is not, then you should check whether the appropriate fuse is working in the right condition. If there is no problem with the fuse, then check whether there is some issue with the switch itself.
Once you confirm that there are steady voltages at 85 positions, it is time for you to set the multimeter in the continuity mode and check if the 86th slot has a good ground connection.
While trying to find out whether there is any faulty relay, you should always keep in mind that it is a trial and error process. You have to move slowly by rooting out the issues one by one. It is the only way for you to find out the culprit.
